From Australia now working at Ludger Ltd, England
Katherine studied at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, where she received a Bachelor of Medical Science (Hons) in 2009. In her honours project she explored the role of maternal milk glycosylation in the immune protection of infants and was done in Professor Nicolle Packer’s lab using PGC-LC ESI-MS/MS. Her interest in mass spectrometry and the role of glycosylation in biological processes led her to undertake a PhD in the same lab, this time exploring membrane glycome and proteome changes during adipose-derived stem cell differentiation.
